Three years ago, we embarked on a journey as SeerBI, with a mission to unlock dormant data within the transport sector and make industries like maritime, haulage, and public transport more data-driven. Today, we stand at a significant milestone: SeerBI has become Seer. This rebrand represents more than just a new name; it reflects our growth, evolution, and expanded ambitions. From our beginnings with a small but passionate 2 person team, to our work with international partners, groundbreaking technologies, and new products, Seer is poised to redefine data intelligence in the maritime and logistics sectors.

The Evolution of Seer

When we started SeerBI, our goal was to make transport frictionless through business intelligence, and our early clients and collaborations set the foundation for this vision. Over the years, we’ve grown immensely, and so has our capacity to innovate and deliver. We’ve had the privilege of working with incredible clients like Casper Group, Oshen, and Teesside Hospice, who have each brought unique challenges and opportunities for us to solve using cutting-edge data analytics and machine learning.

In our pursuit of innovation, we received a grant from Digital Catapult that allowed us to explore quantum machine learning, pushing the boundaries of what data science can achieve in the transport and logistics sector. Our team has grown in both numbers and expertise, now including experts in AI, machine learning, and big data analysis, who continue to develop mind-blowing projects that shape the future of transport.

The past few years also saw us transition through several office spaces—from Teesside University to Stockton and now back to Middlesbrough—each move reflecting our expansion and our connection to the local community. These changes symbolize the adaptability and growth that are at the core of Seer.

Our geographical reach has also grown beyond the UK. We’ve collaborated with companies in the Middle East, Asia, Canada, and the United States, bringing our expertise to global markets and adapting our solutions to meet diverse challenges across different sectors and regions.

New Products and Services

Our transformation isn’t just in name; it’s also in what we now offer. One of the most exciting developments is the launch of Flytta—our customs automation tool. Flytta is designed to simplify the complex customs processes that often slow down global trade, helping businesses streamline their operations and avoid the common pitfalls of international logistics.

In addition to Flytta, we’ve expanded our offerings to include a wider range of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions. Our three core products now include Flytta, SeerBI—our automated data analysis solution—and Profesh.ai our text professionalisation tool. Whether you’re looking to automate insights from your data or need tailored AI solutions to meet unique challenges, Seer has a solution to help you make data-driven decisions faster and more effectively.

We’ve also had the honor of building the software infrastructure for the Teesside Freeport, working alongside the Tees Valley Combined Authority and Casper Customs. This project is close to our heart, as it represents not just technological innovation but also our commitment to supporting regional economic growth. The Teesside Freeport is an example of how our technology can help create smarter, more efficient trade hubs that ultimately benefit everyone.
