Seer has partnered with Edge Innovation Consulting to successfully write and secure a Connected Places Catapult bid for the TRIG (Transport Research and Innovation Grant) initiative. Collaborative Research
Following the success of the TRIG bid, Seer, Edge Innovation Consulting, and Flytta embarked on collaborative research to develop best-in-class carbon monitoring and calculation solutions for the freight industry. This joint effort combined Seer’s data science expertise, Edge Innovation’s strategic insights, and Flytta’s customs automation capabilities to create innovative tools aimed at reducing carbon emissions in freight transport. By integrating advanced analytics, automation, and real-time data, the project focused on improving the accuracy and efficiency of carbon tracking, helping businesses meet sustainability targets while optimising their supply chains for environmental compliance. The research outcomes are set to drive the adoption of more sustainable practices across the sector.
AI Carbon Calculation System
Building on the collaborative research, SeerBI, Edge Innovation Consulting, and Flytta have developed an advanced solution that integrates seamlessly into Flytta’s customs automation platform to automatically calculate carbon emissions from customs declaration data. This innovative tool uses data from freight declarations, such as cargo type, weight, and transportation method, to accurately calculate the carbon footprint of shipments. The integration simplifies sustainability tracking for businesses by automating the process of carbon emission reporting, eliminating the need for manual calculations, and ensuring compliance with increasingly stringent environmental regulations.
AI Based Carbon Transport Calculation
The solution leverages advanced data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and automation technologies to process customs declaration data and calculate carbon emissions in real-time. It integrates seamlessly with Flytta’s existing platform, utilizing cloud-based infrastructure to handle large volumes of data while ensuring scalability and efficiency.
